  • You represent Christ, so act like it.

Scripture: Psalms 119

  • Have you made a resolution this year to be determined and committed to Christ.
  • How caring are you? How loving are you? How giving are you? Think about your life and think about how you spend your time.
  • What is the difference between how you were and how you are now?

Scripture: 1 Peter 1

  • Listen to the spirit of Christ.
  • Do you love the people outside of the church more than you do those in the church?
  • It doesn’t really matter what you like to do, what does God want you to do?
  • Stop lying to yourself and stop lying to others because lies to God do not work anyway.
  • People do stuff ignorantly all the time. Don’t be like those people.

Scripture: Matthew 7

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5

  • Get your emotions in check.
  • When you don’t want to hear what you know that you NEED to hear, that is called quenching the spirit.
  • Talk to people about God! Encourage others, ask questions, have a conversation about what really matters.
  • Abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
  • See clearly in 2020. What are you trying to present?
  • Stay out of compromising situations.
  • Don’t get mistaken for the enemy because you are with the enemy.
  • The more authentic you are the better you will feel about yourself spiritually.
  • When you are living righteously there is no reason to worry about judgement.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 3

  • God didn’t tell us to be stupid he told us to take notice.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 5

  • It matters who you hang around with.
  • Quit pretending that you are blind to the stuff that you see.

Scripture: Hebrews 6

  • God knows how much work you are really doing for the body of Christ.
  • Keep your eyes open. Use other people as examples.
  • Don’t assume that other people in church should do more work than you do.
