SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 24
-Treat people the way that God says the should be treated, not just the way that they treat you.
-The reason why “you do what you do” should be because you love God.
-Don’t try to justify your behavior based off of other people actions.
-Don’t be a puppet of the world. Be a servant of the almighty God.
-What is your motto going into the new year?
-God cares that you do good work and that you are not lazy.
-God does not like laziness. Take care of your business inside and outside of church.
-In 2016 don’t let your excuse for not doing things in Christ be because “it’s boring” or “you don’t feel like it”.
-Be careful about your attitude towards work.
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 6
-Some people are broke because they are lazy, point blank.
SCRIPTURE: 2 Thessalonians
-Your philosophy on work should come from God.
-Christianity is not for weak people it’s for people who will stand up for what God’s word says.
-Don’t spend so much time worrying about not making people feel bad that you don’t tell them the truth. Stand up and be strong.
SCRIPTURE: Nehemiah 4
-You spend time working on your personal interest, but how much do you contribute to church?
-Do you have a mind to work?
-Most of us are not being physically threatened or provoked not to do God’s work, so we should have no excuse as to why it isn’t getting done.
-How many resolutions did you not complete in the previous year?
-Your commitments to God should not be put on the end of your to-do list.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 25
-God has given us all talents how are you using yours to glorify him?
-Everything you have God gave you.
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 6
-The stuff you do for church and for the Lord, if you are sincerely doing it, will be remembered.
