Sermon
SCRIPTURE: John 3
-You don’t want to go week to week and make no positive changes in Christ. Going to church and hearing God’s word should give you direction and insight on what you should be doing with your life to benefit Christ an his kingdom.
-As Christians you should be encouraging your brothers and sisters in Christ to be better and to improve.
-Use the 4 P’s when reading through God’s word (Principles & Promise, Precepts, Prayer, and Proclamation).
-How often are your encouraging others?
-Are you actively pursuing the things that are right or are you constantly struggling with selfish pursuits? (This could be a sign that you are pursuing darkness).
-Scripture is there for your benefit, health, and growth.
-Everybody has a voice, are you using yours to build others up?
-Everybody has equal access to God’s love, but that doesn’t mean that everyone is accessing his love, because most people don’t choose to.
-When your wanting to be right, you will start to see your brothers and sisters in Christ as resources.
-Are you gravitating towards darkness?
