Sermon:

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 95

-You can’t choose between which commandments you want to follow and which ones you don’t.

-When you worship your heart should be open and humble before God.

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 25

-God’s word gives us specific instruction on what we should do with our lives, however a lot of people don’t utilize God’s word.

-Be mature enough to deal with serious situations, don’t cower or shy away.

-Your enemy should determine your attitude, God should.

-The way you live and what you do makes a difference.

-Be careful about self promotion, always trying to get recognition or to be seen for what you do.

-A lot of people don’t want God to be recognized, they want to be recognized.

SCRIPTURE: Romans 12

-Do not live with an “evil for evil” agenda. Don’t seek to do wrong to those who have wronged you. revenge is the Lord’s.

-No matter what the situation choose to do the right thing without having the “I’m The Bigger Person” egotistical attitude.

-Don’t go through life with a vengeful spirit.

-If you can’t treat your enemy right it shows who you are, not who they are.

-Don’t try your technique, try God’s.

-Christians must be able to control their behavior, you can’t be emotionally unstable people.

-Being angry does not justify you doing the wrong thing even if someone has done you wrong first.

-Agreeing to disagree is not a biblical resolution to things.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 5

-As Christians we shouldn’t be hating people let alone declaring our hate for any person.

-Some peoples prayers are actually curses because somethings you should not pray for and are insulting to God.

SCRIPTURE: Luke 17

-Don’t be a bad example of a Christian in front of kids.

-Before you think about how much others have wronged you, consider how many times has God forgiven you through your life.

-People may claim they forgive but God is the one who truly forgives you for your sins.

SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4
