Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Romans 10

-Are you a disobedient person or are you following the will of God?

-What God is asking us to do is really simple but people choose to make it difficult.

  • Be nice to people
  • Don’t Fornicate
  • Get Married.
  • Don’t get divorced.
  • Go to church.
  • Be loving.
  • Don’t steal.
  • Don’t kill.
  • etc.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11

-Don’t turn to drugs for a temporary fix, go to God for a permanent solution.

-Let God direct you, listen to what he has to tell you. Don’t be rebellious.

-The word of God only limits people who are not trying to follow him.

-A lot of people are arguing against the truth instead of trying to find it.

-Is being a christian hard for you, if so what does that say about you?

SCRIPTURE: 2 Timothy 2

-Christians are not mentally weak people.

-Don’t get so caught up on the affairs of this world that you neglect what God has called you to focus on.

-What ever you do for God do it with the right attitude.

-If you want people to be more active in church then you set the example of how to be active in church.

-Are you a good promoter for God? How can you convince others to be excited about God when you don’t show the same attitude?

-You don’t want to be anybodies excuse or stumbling block concerning their commitment to God.

-If you don’t believe in Jesus then you are not a Christian. Period.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Peter 3

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 13

-You should care to know what the Lord wants you to do.

-Who you hang around does matter.
