Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 27

-Let other people brag on you, don’t boast about all of the things you think you’ve accomplished.

-A believer has to plan their life and live differently than the average worldly person.

-Be careful that when you talk, that you’re not portraying a person who is centered around their dreams rather than focused on God.

-Be responsible parents. Be obedient children.

-If you are a man and you aren’t acting as the head of your family in Christ then you need to repent and fulfill your role in Christ.

-Men BE MEN and stand up for Christ in your family.

-Teenagers respect your parents and make sure you are appreciative especially if you have had parents that have taken care of you your entire childhood.

-Love God more than anything. Don’t lose track of God for anybody.

-It doesn’t matter how old you are, respect your parents.

-The worlds law doesn’t trump God’s law no matter what century we live in.

-The world may change but God word does not change.

-Are you an open honest person?

-If you don’t correct your child, you hate your child.

-When uncomfortable situations arise do you wait for someone who you consider to be stronger in Christ to respond?

-Are you avoiding your true friends?

-How are you as a friend?

-Some people’s friends are their worst enemies. Think about that.

-How many people do you come in contact consistently with and you don’t share the gospel with them?

-Sometimes saying “I understand you” to be people who are being rebellious against God are the worst words you can say.

-Recognize a true friend when God send them your way.

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 14

-Envy makes you a very weak person. Envy can also make you a bitter person.

-Don’t let what other people have cause you to be jealous or envious.
