Sermon
Children of the 4th World
-What do you fuss and complain about?
-Put things into perspective, stop complaining and be grateful.
-What is it that you are really unhappy about? Does that compare to people in other places who live in dumps and go days without eating?
-Have you shown proper appreciation to the things and opportunities God has given you thus far?
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 5
-It matters to God when you are not real and authenticate to your friends and family about God.
-When you are trying to do the right thing in Christ there will be people who try to discourage you.
-It is understandable that some situations may be uncomfortable but don’t let that be a barrier for why you don’t respond for God.
-People you consider to be your closest friends may be your spiritual enemies and you don’t know it.
-Why call yourself a christian if you are not talking to people and sharing the Gospel?
-As a christian you will have to tell people things they don’t want to hear sometimes.
SCRIPTURE: Mark 8
-When it’s time to be it’s time to be!
-A lot of people are gradually losing their soul on a daily basis.
-You should be more ‘uncomfortable’ at the fact that people are disrespecting God than you are ‘uncomfortable’ about speaking up.
SCRIPTURE: John 12
-Some people are choosing not to stand for God because it’s not the popular thing to do.
-The popular opinion is not always the Godly opinion.
-Christians should take a “If you can’t beat them, then join them” approach to things that are wrong. Stand!
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 27
-Don’t let your flesh pull you away from Christ.
-Strive to make a difference in the world! God loves you and he wants to use you.
-When you are reading and studying the scripture, have a prayer that you want to help you satisfy that scripture.
-Church is important and so is fellowship.
-God also wants you to be considerate.
-Believers ought to make other believers better, iron sharpens iron.
