Sermon
Scripture: Psalms 92 & 96
-If you want good things to happen in your life and if you want your life to better, then you should be praising the Lord.
-When you worship God, give him your best effort.
-Don’t ever do something for God with a mediocre mindset.
-You are a beautiful creation of God’s.
-Just because you are sitting in the audience does not mean you cannot be apart pf the choir when it’s time to worship. The bible says “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving…”.
-Don’t bring a bad attitude into God’s house.
-When you come to church, bring something to the table.
-If you are not willing to praise the Lord then something in your heart and spirit is not right.
-Regardless of if you feel like it or not, God always deserves the praise!
–YES, you should be talking about God to people. NO, some people don’t want to hear about God.
-Don’t let those who don’t love the Lord dampen your excitement about God.
-It doesn’t matter what “everyone else” believes that shouldn’t stop you for being enthusiastic about Jesus.
-You are a creation of God, you have value and substance in Christ.
-Some people respect the court room more than church. Show God’s house the same respect.
-God has control over everything that happens, so don’t live a fearful life live a life passionate and dedicated to the Lord.
-Approach your life in Christ with a mind to work.
-Some people know more about celebrities than they know about God and his words.
-God’s death saved lives!
Scripture: Romans 1, 10, 11
-Everyone receives the opportunity to know God, but do they take it?
-There are serious consequences to rejecting Christ.
-Some people want to push God away and live a life without considering him…that is a poor decision.
-If you’re not a believer it’s because something is wrong with YOU not God or his words.
-Don’t remain ignorant, study God’s word.
-Be thankful that you are able to work for the Lord. Don’t take your life in Christ for granted.
Scripture: Acts 7 & 9
Scripture: Isiah 43 & 49
