Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 5

-What you go through reveals who you are. Trial by Fire.

-Don’t forget that in the moment of pressure you can serve as a good example for the Lord.

-People will lie on you because you are trying to do the right thing.

-Don’t be a complainer, if bad things are happening because you are obeying the Lord then rejoice! Don’t let things take you down that easily.

-We live in a very ungrateful society. A lot of people spend their life waiting for people to appreciate them instead of showing appreciation to others.

-Don’t be a stumbling block for others, how you respond to situations is important.

Step 1 to being a better example for Christ: Stop Complaining!

-Hopefully it doesn’t take a huge wake up call for you to realize God is real.

SCRIPTURE: James 1

-Don’t wait till the last minute to resort to prayer. Talk to God now!

-If you are caught up on loving the world and attempting to follow the Lord, then your spiritual life will always be unstable.

-Don’t wait until you get what you want or until things work out in your favor to praise the Lord.

-Are you a light in this dark world?

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 27

-Be a good friend. Extend your self to love others
