Sermon
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 28
-Reading God’s word will help you understand people.
-The bible tells you how you ought to behave and respond.
-Your life is deeper than trying to achieve your worldly goals.
-People will lie, kill, steal, and even more. You don’t know people as good as you think you do but God word outlines people.
-Open your eyes and see what God’s saying.
-Be open! What is there to hide unless you’re guilty?
-Don’t be evasive and nasty. Appreciate when someone is trying to make sure you’re on the right track.
SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 10
-You can’t constantly stay to yourself, it is not good for you and it is not good for others.
-Are you being selfish?
-There is a reason why there is church.
-During bible study you need to be thinking about ACTUAL situations that you need to deal with in your life. Apply what you learn directly to your life.
-A lot of people hear the word of God…but they aren’t using it.
-The word of God applies to real life! It isn’t just some novel for entertainment.
-The word of God has an answer for you right now about what you should do with your life.
SCRIPTURE: 1 John 4
-When you are being the person you are supposed to be it takes a lot of weight off of your shoulders.
-If you are what you are supposed to be in Christ then there is no need to fear death.
-Repent and be for real.
-Don’t let tears confuse you. Behind some peoples tears are deep sins…
-God is love. If God is on your side, what do you have to fear?
-If you hate your brother but claim to love God then you are a liar.
SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 3
-You are going to talk for your self.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 5
-Love your enemies. Bless them that persecute you.
-Be careful of the devil whispering to you “You know they wouldn’t do that for you”.
-How much time do you spend praying for others.
