Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 28

-Too many people have a ministry of failure.

-Wicked folks have insecurities. Wickedness breeds insecurities.

-God really is the one who keeps you in your right mind.

-There are tons of Proverbs about anger and how you manage it.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 1

-When is the last time you recognized God as “the God of all comfort”.

-Make sure your comfort does not rely in people but in God. God can use his people to provide comfort but they are not a substitute for God.

-Stop always thinking there is two sides to every story, seek to be on God’s side.

-Are you a resource or are you always needy. Are you balance and able to share your faith with other people?

-It is impossible to be a believer if you don’t put your trust in God.

-Are you able to talk about how to be:

  • a good friend?
  • a good neighbor?
  • a good example?
  • a good son, brother, mother, sister, or father?

-Are you a light or darkness in other people life?

-Your presence should be bring joy and encouragement to others. What are you accomplishing in Christ?

SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 3

-You see someones true contents when they are shaken up.

-It’s time for Christians to stop saying I did this because “I was  mad.”

-How invested are you in the lives of other people? What difference are you making in the lives of other people?

-Is your life apart of the joy of someone else’s life?

-Instead of telling someone you just want them to be happy why don’t you say I just want you to be happy in God.

-There is no guarantee that you will always get what you want, but that should not determine your attitude.

-Being saved and selfish don’t mix, if you’re one you certainly can not be the other.

-Be thankful for the people that are checking on you spiritually.

-Keep your mentality strong about what living a christian life is really all about.

-If you have true faith you have true fruits of faith.

-It’s not always people who are getting you off track sometimes its the Devil.

-To serve God also requires you to serve people, don’t let anybody try to convince you otherwise.

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27

-The righteous have confidence. The righteous are bold. The righteous are servants of God.

-What do you do to seek God?
