Scripture: Romans 12

-Things change and people may change but God never changes.

-Be not conformed to this world.

-Watch out for those desires and pursuits that take you away from Christ.

Scripture: James 4

-Just because you want something and don’t get it doesn’t mean that you should become unhappy.

-When you don’t get what you want (not what you need) do you become a mean person?

-Watch what you pray for and watch what you want.

-All ambition is not good. Some ambitions is too worldly.

-Sometimes you could be asking for stuff when you need to be thanking God for the things that you have.

-A lot of people come to church only to receive and not to give. That’s not how it should be.

-Don’t make the mistake of becoming worldly to get what you want. It’s not worth it, and it certainly is not worth sacrificing your relationship with God.

Scripture: Philippians 4

-Keep a good mindset despite the things that are occurring in your life.

-Don’t ask God for stupid stuff.

-Can you repeat Philippians 4:13 confidently?

-The fact that you can give and help people is a blessing.

-The world puts an emphasis on what you can receive for yourself. God puts and emphasis on what you can do for others. Two completely different views.

-Sometimes it’s not what you ask for that is the problem, it can be the spirit in which you ask it.

Scripture: John 15

-A Christians mentality should be to bare fruit for God. Your sole purpose in life should not be to advance yourself in the world.

-There is no good in reading and not doing. Yes it is good to read God’s word but how are you living it?

-If you can’t really be yourself around Christians than YOU are not a Christian!

-Just because you don’t get caught doesn’t mean you are not a thief, or murderer, or liar, etc.

-Stop assuming and actually READ THE BIBLE!

-God knows and cares about you.

-If you are going to live a christian life your main focus should not be on your well being with a disregard for others that are in your life.

-If the world hates you just know that it hated God first.

-If some of your friends love you because  they don’t consider you “that crazy about God” then that’s a shame…

-The one moment people will love you and the next moment they could hate you. Understand how the world works when you are trying to live for God.
