Scripture: Romans 8

-You should have a new agenda and new game plan for life after being baptized.

-You should not be doing the old evil deeds you did prior to getting baptized. Let that old man/ woman go!

-If you still act the same, do the same, and respond the same then that’s still the old man.

-Just because you get baptized doesn’t mean that difficult situations won’t arise.

Scripture: Matthew 3

-Do know what God wants you to do with your life?

-Just because you’re a christian doesn’t mean God wants you to make stupid decisions. Use the brain God gave you.

-You are not trying God, God is trying you.

-Don’t tempt the Lord.

-It’s not your position to try God.

-The devil will always try to tempt you with a lifestyle that you could live if you compromised on your relationship with God.

-Satan will try to give you opportunities to not be saved.

-Too many people are inviting the devil into their life instead of fleeing him.

Scripture: Romans 12

-Don’t leave church clueless. Leave with more information that which you came.

-Once you get baptized, NOW YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! You didn’t get baptized to do nothing.

-Start a prayer list, make some phone calls, visit someone. Look for opportunities to serve.

-You should not be doing what everyone else is doing. That’s not what God called YOU to do.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6

-Don’t let anyone sidetrack you from doing what you are supposed to do for God.

Scripture: 1 Galatians 5

-There are things that you absolutely cannot do and consider yourself to be saved.

-Christians are not hateful people.
