SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 27
-Give God glory in the midst of all situations.
-Don’t pretend to be courageous, be courageous.
-A good friend of a coward is ambiguity.
SCRIPTURE: Acts 24
-Are you looking forward to the opportunity to share your faith with somebody?
-Everybody is always looking for a platform. You don’t have to be famous to proclaim your love for Jesus to others.
-Don’t be ambitious, be very clear!
-When is the last time you told someone how you got saved?
SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 3
-Don’t let the world dictate your religion.
As christians you should have an entirely different thought process than people of the world. Set the Lord apart in your heart and set yourself apart from the world. Be ready always to give an answer to people about your relationship with Christ. Most often people are uncomfortable speaking about their relationship with Christ because they are living a disobedient life. Maybe you’re not trusting in God like you should or maybe you are not living for God like you should and that could be why you do not feel comfortable talking to or about God. Whoever told you that is was okay to be ambiguous has LIED to you. Be real. Be true. No shady stuff. Do you have a testimony and will you talk about your relationship with God to other people. Do not get quiet when people start talking about God, speak up! Why would you hide the greatest thing in your life? You are a light so let it shine! Quietness is not godliness.
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 10
It is your responsibility to provoke others unto love and good works. Stop sitting on the sideline. You can not live this life and not talk about God. There are a lot of people who will not go to heaven because they are not on fire for God, they are lukewarm. You don’t go to church just to talk to God, you go to fellowship with others as well. You cannot have church by yourself. And it still not considered church if you are attending a massive building with lots of people yet have no relationship with others. You have to help other around you live a better life for Christ. Satan wants you to be a fearful weird person. satan doesn’t want you to have clear conversations about Christ. Satan wants you to sin willfully. Don’t do what Satan wants. The enemy of courage is anxiety. What good is a great poem that you never share? A great song that you never sing? Or a great speech that you never give? Use that talent that God has blessed you with to glorify him. Too many people are riddled with anxiety or are scared to fail, don’t focus on that! Focus on doing the best that you can for God. Live in faith.
