SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27

-When you are too anxious you really can not be trusted.

-Fear screams the loudest in silence. Fear is very loud in silence sometimes.

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 27

-Are you ruled by the looks of man?

-Don’t be afraid of rejection from the world.

SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4

-Let your moderation be known unto all men.

-A lot of people actually do not trust God when it comes down to it. when things are going okay for them then they can be christian, however when things are not going okay for them they cannot be christian. Some folks are going through way more than you and are able to continuously say “praise the Lord”, how come you can’t say the same thing? Stop glorifying your anxiety. You will meet people that talk about their physiological problems as if it is normal. The way some people talk it’s hard to gage if they are truly trusting in God or not because the always seem to dwell on their problems. Does your fear scream louder than your love? It doesn’t matter that you put on a good show before people, how is your relationship with God? Is it all a show or do you have a genuine relationship with God? What does it mean when you state that you “can’t take it”? Your definition of not being able to handle a situation could be completely different than how God wants you to respond. People acting out of anxiety and fear do not tend to make godly decisions. If you are riddled with anxiety that’s not consider to be riddle with faith. If the only reason you praise the Lord is because everything is going your way…then how do you know that you are acting on true faith?

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 56

If you have problems and start to stray away from God then that shows you that you probably were not that close to him in the first place. When problems arise draw closer to God! Sometimes when you are to focused on protecting yourself you might do that at the expense of hurting other people. Don’t let the devil use you. Serve as a good example, not a bad one. It is your responsibility to let folks know about the God that your serve.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10

-Don’t be overwhelmed, be calm and trust in the Lord. If you are stressing more than you are praying then it is time to reverse somethings.

-Some people pray yet expect God to do nothing. Some people’s prayer requests are just announcements of their stress.

-God does not want you to be worried, he wants you to trust in him.

-It is your responsibility to seek and ask for prayer.

-It is time to stop playing church. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find!

-Seek to pray before you complain.

SCRIPTURE: Luke 12

-Seek the kingdom of God first and foremost.

-How do you expect people to trust you if you don’t even trust God?

-With God on your side you can take anything that comes your way.

SCRIPTURE: Revelations 21

-Don’t let anybody keep you from the kingdom of God.
