Scripture: Romans 12
-Put God first, there is no such thing as too much Jesus.
-Instead of asking yourself “What do I want to do?”, ask yourself “What does God want me to do?”.
-Do you seek God?
-If you claim that just because you attend church that you are seeking God then that it is not entirely true. A lot of people go to church but are not seeking God.
Scripture: Matthew 6
-Make decisions and asking questions later is not always a good game plan.
-When you don’t have God in your heart you are capable of some desperately wicked things.
-Think about the things that God says you should concern your self with then think about the things that you actually concern your self with.
-Knowing what God wants from you is not that difficult.
Scripture: Luke 14
-Have you been asking God for an excuse to be less of what he wants you to be?
-You cannot satisfy everybody wants.
-What you want to do is not more important than what you are required to do.
-Sometimes you will not get what you want and you have to be able to deal with it having a Godly attitude.
Scripture: Ephesians 5
-Do right by people, not just because you want to but because God told you to.
Scripture: 1 Peter 3
-Prove what is good.
-Can you prove that what you are doing is in God’s will? Are you a living proof of what it means to have God first in your life?
-Don’t use bad examples as an excuse to explain your behavior
-Change whatever you need to change in your life to make Jesus first.
