Communion
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11
Scripture: 1 John 4
-If the God you believe in can’t walk on water then you don’t believe in the one true God.
Sermon
Scripture: Romans 12
-Important is a choice. You choose to be important just like you can choose to be invisible.
-Instead of trying to figure out what you want to be find out what God wants you to be. It’s ashamed how people’s goals will make God smaller in their lives.
Scripture: Matthew 25
-Laziness is sinfulness.
-You cannot escape your responsibility in God, even if someone else does it.
-We all have roles but all of our roles may not be the same.
Some common roles include being:
- a husband
- a wife
- a father
- a brother
- a daughter
- a sister
- a son
- an encourager
- a worshipper
-You need to have goals in God, how can you expect to grow closer to God otherwise?
-Your plans indicate your passion. Don’t assume that you will be better in God tomorrow by pushing the things of God off today.
-When someone no longer wants to see you happy then you will notice problems start to take place in the relationship.
-Is God the object of your affection or just one of many subject of things that you have going on.
Scripture: Proverbs 1
-Is your life busy in God?
