Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5

-Don’t let anyone or any situation push you to the limits of sinning or responding in an ungodly way.

-You may not always feel the greatest but God still deserves your best effort.

-There is still something to thank the Lord for even when you are having problems.

-Consider this week, how much have you thanked the Lord? Have you been more thankful this week or more troubled this week?

-If you don’t pray a lot then you will not have a very healthy life in Christ.

-You can eat as healthy as you want to but that doesn’t mean that you will live longer.

-What does the Bible say about living longer? It mentions the importance of honoring your parents.

-A lot of people put an emphasis on things that the Bible does not put an emphasis on. As a believer you have to differentiate yourself from the world.

-The Bible tells us to be a light, shine for good not for evil.

-As a believer exercise yourself in Godliness so that you stay strong. Be very careful about falling into the ways of the world because it can creep up on you very subtly.

-Get into the word and get into worship even when you don’t feel like it.

-Make sure you are increasing in God because before you know it your life will be over.
