Colossians 3:16
Make sure to have a daily dose of Godly music, and share with others.
Proverbs 16 recap from Chris’s reading earlier…
Commit thy works = having God all rolled up in what you are doing.
Be careful about passions. They can misguide…and they change.
Once you have the shirt or guitar, you may start to really really want the next thing.
Make God your passion. What would a man give in exchange for his soul?
Double minded = unstable
Being rolled up and wrapped up in God can be a strange thing…because it’s only for believers.
What is there to do in God?
Some people get bored, and have nothing to do at times.
(Answers from the crowd)
There’s several things on the list at this point, but the list is not exhaustive.
One point from this exercise is that we have to be thinking along these lines.
Spend time fleshing out your list, and getting better and what you can do in Christ.
Proverbs 15:30
If you hang around Godly people, you’ll get better advice than from an ungodly person.
Matthew 9:35
There are so many people out there wanting and needing the answers to life.
So many people need a relationship with a Godly friend you can provide.
Be willing to deal with the real issues of life.
Don’t be the person who doesn’t see anything to do in the Lord.
The harvest is plenteous, be an effective laborer.
When you plan your plan, roll it up in God so you can enjoy life the way God wants you to.
