Communion

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11

-How do you show the Lords death till he comes?

-Leave church knowing that you gave your all in praise and worship to God. It’s not just that you do something, it’s how you do it.

-A lot of people think being Christian is a choice when it’s actually a privilege.

-Obedience must come from the heart.

-Don’t disrespect God with how you approach communion.

Scripture: James 1

Sermon

-Christians shouldn’t do what most people do.

-God has gifted everyone with something they can do for him. Everyone has an office in God. Everyone will not do the same thing but everyone has a job.

-How connected do you think you are to other people in Christ?

-The gifts that God gave you are to edify others not just yourself. Who is benefiting from your gifts?

-A lot of people go to church but are not members.

-What do you think of when you hear the word father?

-God gave the father the responsibility to be the head of the family. They also have a responsibility for leadership and direction.

-You cannot give away your responsibility as a man.

-Women, if you don’t want a godly man that says more about YOU than it does about him.

-Children, you can’t hate your father for trying to correct you. That’s what a father does.

Scripture: Proverbs 4

-What scripture justifies letting people “find their own way”?

-Father CAN and SHOULD correct their children if they are in the wrong. Be glad someone cares to be involved in your life.

Scripture: Proverbs 15

Scripture: Jeremiah 11

-God expects the father to be the spiritual leader of the family.

-When you go to church you should also go home and share the word too. Leave a legacy of love and truth.

-Don’t try and separate husband from being associate with a father, bless your wife and bless your life.

-The leader of the household is not determined on who makes the most money.

-Stand up and be men.
