Communion

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11

  • Are you forgetting all the amazing things that God does on a daily basis?
  • YOU are an amazing creation, don’t take the things that God does for granted.

Sermon

Review notes from last week https://www.ekklesia.church/sunday-morning-december-8-2019/.

Scripture: Romans 12

  • A lot of people fail in Christ and that is not acceptable.
  • Watch the advice you give
  • It many be time for you to kick some members out. In order for you to be a good member you have to remove certain things form your life.

Scripture: Colossians 3

  • Think about how you are seeking Christ.
  • “Your Life” should be in Christ.
  • There is some stuff you are going to have to kill in your life (Figuratively speaking).
  • Sexual related sins are a deep problem in the world today, especially with all the social media platforms. Kill that sin.
  • Have evil thoughts? Kill it.
  • Maximizing the things that you want and minimizing the things that God wants of you is called covetousness.
  • Any deal or situation that ends up with you having less God is a BAD deal.
  • Don’t become addicted to yourself.
  • Is it really about God or is it really about you? Truth is God already knows where he fits in your life.
  • The things that you deem as “not necessary” may be very important to God, check your walk in Christ.
  • Appeal to the world is exactly that APPEALING TO THE WORLD. As Christians we are meant to stand out.
  • If you can’t control your mouth you might as well just disqualify your whole religion.

Scripture: Ephesians 4

  • You can not lie about your relationship with Christ. When someone is trying to get you right tell the truth!
  • Do no try to avoid the truth!

Scripture: Revelations 21
