Sermon

Scripture: Matthew 16

-Don’t get confused by the definition of encouragement. Words of encouragement may not always be things that you want to hear but may be things that you need to hear.

-Make sure you have a Godly perspective about God’s will.

-Truth is you will have to make some tough choices in Christ to uphold the right thing.

-God’s will is what God wants, don’t forget that.

-What will you profit if you gain the whole world but lose your soul. What would you give in exchange for your soul?

-What do you really want to be in life? Is living for God your primary objective?

-Too many people are living to get credit for stuff that really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.

Song of the week: Commissioned – Find Myself in You

Scripture: Colossians 3

-The will of God is not an accident.

-Set your affection on things above.

-A little less of God is NEVER a good thing.

-If you are already struggling with being unfocused and not motivated in God then why would you resort to having less of God?

-Don’t become too casual about your relationship with Christ.

Scripture: Colossians 4

-Can you talk about what’s going on in God with you right now?

Scripture: Luke 13

-The truth is, some people are going to Heaven and some people are not.

Scripture: Psalms 143
