Sermon

Scripture: Romans 12

-Your service should make sense.

-Are you giving an excellent effort to God?

-Don’t hold on to wrath and bitterness in your heart. Be sincere when you come to God.

-Too many people are coming to church with no desire to know what God wants from them. Come to church for a reason!

-Science has constantly changed over time, God’s word has not changed.

Scripture: 1 Peter 2

-To believe things happen on accident and that the world was formed on accident is foolish..

-Science cannot explain God

Scripture: Hebrews 11

-If you are not truly seeking God then it is possible that you won’t find him. Are you really seeking for God?

Scripture: Deuteronomy 6

-Something about obedience itself has a correlation to long life, according to God.

-There is only 1 God despite what other religions or people say.

-Do you love God with all or your heart, all of your soul, and all of your might?

Does your service to God indicate that you are doing the best that you can? Does it represent the best of what you have to offer?

-Love is an active word.

-Some people’s heart is in their hobbies, job, the world, or their relationship but not in God.

-Don’t pass up the opportunity to get to know and share God with others.

-You should be able to talk about God in your house…and what you say should be consistent with his word.

-From church to your house the conversation and attitude about God should be the same.

-God loves a humble heart.

-If you’re not working for God you are unemployed regardless of what your worldly job position says.

-Would God fire you for the work you are doing for him?

-Be good at what you do for God.

-What work are you putting in to be better?

Scripture: Ephesians 2

-Sometimes you will notice that the more successful people get the more they tend to stray way from God.

-Don’t trade your relationship with God for worldly success, it’s not worth it.

-What you do and don’t want to do says a lot about you.

-Don’t be a stumbling block for other people.
