What If You Could Livestream the End?

Scriptures: Proverbs 1, Joshua 1, Matthew 7, 2 Timothy 2, 2 Timothy 3, Luke 14

Reflection:

What if you could livestream the end of your life—and if you could, what would you change right now?
If you could see the final chapter play out, the consequences of your choices, the impact of your daily habits, the fruit (or lack of it) from your spiritual walk—what would you rewrite?

The truth is, even though you can’t livestream the end, you can recognize the barriers between you and a good ending. You can examine the obstacles blocking your spiritual growth, your relationships, and your obedience to God. And you can start fixing them today.

Look at the Path You’re On

Proverbs 1 and Joshua 1 remind us to consider how things are going right now—and how they may end if you stay on this path.
Nothing changes without awareness.
Nothing improves without intention.

If your current trajectory continued unchanged, would it lead you closer to God or closer to regret?

Ask yourself honestly:
Did you spend enough time this week…

  • Being a worshipper of God?

  • Building godly relationships?

  • Praying?

  • Reading your Word?

These aren’t optional activities—they are the foundations of a Christian life. Remember:
Christian is Christian.
There is no “lesser,” “part-time,” or “almost” disciple.

Reinforce Godly Thinking

Matthew 7 teaches us to build on solid foundations—truth that can withstand storms.
You must constantly reinforce godly ways to look at things, especially when the world tries to train you to think upside-down.

2 Timothy 2 reminds us that you will go through some things for you—not as punishment, but as preparation.
God shapes you through pressure, not ease.

Then in 2 Timothy 3, God calls you to be what and where He wants you to be.
Your assignment isn’t random, accidental, or replaceable.

And when you see a bad example—whether in church, family, or community—be willing to speak up with truth and love. Silence helps no one.

The Cost of Being a Disciple

Luke 14 reminds us that following Christ requires intentional sacrifice, not emotional impulse. If you want a better ending, you must make better decisions now.

Stop living “in the moment” as if the moment is the only thing that matters.
The end matters.
Your testimony matters.
Your influence matters.

God wants to give you a good ending—but He also requires you to walk the path that leads there.

Challenge:

  • Reflect on what your ending would look like if your habits never changed.

  • Strengthen the basics: worship, relationships, prayer, and Scripture.

  • Correct your thinking with God’s truth, not emotions or culture.

  • Speak truth in love when faced with harmful examples.

  • Live intentionally so your ending glorifies God—not regrets Him.
