Communion

Scripture: Luke 14 & 22

-Take communion seriously and remember what the Lord has done for us.

Scripture: John 16

-Don’t let the world trip you out. Don’t dwell too much on what the world says, stay focused on God!

-Even when no one else will stand with you make a stand in Christ.

-God died on the cross for YOU. God has done so much for you, don’t be ashamed to make a stand form him.

Scripture: 1 Peter 3, 4, & 5

-God suffered for sins you committed.

-Have you graduated from thinking like the world?

-We might suffer in the life but your true reward is in Heaven!

-Doing the right thing in God will make you a stronger person.

Sermon

Scripture: Romans 12

-Church is one place that you should realize people are trying to help you be better.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 3 & 4

-God doesn’t want you to be a fearful person. Yes, you should fear God but not man.

-Are you seeking to develop stronger relationships with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

-Church is a place where care , support, and love should thrive.

-Do you have your church families best interest in mind?

-Stop seeking to do the least you can do, do the most and best you can do for God! You’re not going to increase by not adding.

-You should be ashamed to praise God in front of other people…if so something is not right.

-It’s really shallow to attempt to be around people only when you see that they have “great things” going on.

-Do you have a loving and caring disposition.

-Satan wants you to be a guilt ridden and selfish person.

-If you haven’t done much for God last week than make a commitment to change that and do more this week!

Scripture: Hebrews 6

-The best judge of you (besides God) is you!

-Work for God will get you tired sometimes, but that’s okay!

Scripture: Deuteronomy 23

-When you make a vow or commitment to the Lord fulfill it.

-Be careful of making commitments to the Lord during bad times with no true intentions of fulfilling them.

Scripture: Numbers 30
