COMMUNION

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11

-Get God on your mind, get your heart right, and get ready to take communion. Take communion seriously and thank him for the things that he has done for you.

-Check yourself out and make sure you are ready to participate in communion.

SERMON

Scripture: Romans 12

-Just because everybody does it doesn’t make it right.

-People’s thinking may change but God’s word will not. Don’t be conformed to this world.

-Is your thinking worldly or is your thinking Godly?

-Being blessed does not solely mean the amount of things you have in your life. Being blessed centers around having the presence of God in your life.

Scripture: Psalms 122

-People don’t tend to ask “how long is it going to take” when it comes to world events but the often ask that about church events.

-People wait in line for hours to hear people sing nasty, vile, songs but won’t bother to attend a church service.

Scripture: Psalms 133

-If you think church is not a place for developing relationships with others and it’s just a place to come and leave then you are sadly mistaken.

-There is a reason why some people are always failing.

-Stupidity is a pattern.

-You are failing because you are practicing failing habits. While others are succeeding because the are practicing successful habits.

-Be transformed. Think different. Talk different.

-What have you had success doing in Christ?

-A lot of people are not seeking to grow. Don’t stay the same, be better.

-Your goal has to include God. First.
