Sermon
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 15 & 29
-The bible provides you with answers about how to deal with life.
-Who is willing to be right? You can’t change the things that happened yesterday, but will will you do to be right TODAY?
-Exercise your senses to be able to discern between good and evil.
-A key sign of people who are disobeying God is the fact that they will always seem to avoid you.
-When you live a lie it’s hard to feel comfortable.
-Do not take your anger out on others when you get caught doing the wrong thing. Repent and change.
-Unfortunately a lot of people are running from the law…just like they are running from the Lord.
-Some people will be willing to talk about everything on the planet except God.
-Running from people won’t allow you to escape from God.
-What are your running from? God knows your heart.
SCRIPTURE: John 3
-What you like and love says where your heart is.
-Just because you don’t get caught doesn’t mean you aren’t guilty.
When you’re doing evil you are not going to be an open person.
-A common sign that people are being unauthentic is when they state “It’s between me an God…”.
-Do you not talk to certain people? Do you avoid people? If so then maybe you are not legitimate.
SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 3
-It’s time to let people see the realness!
If your friends feel comfortable telling you how nasty, dirty, and foul they are then maybe you aren’t being a good friend.
-Are you authentic? what difference are you making in other people’s life?
SCRIPTURE: James 5
-There is a way to deal with being guilty…CONFESS your sins to the the Lord and repent so the healing process can begin.
-Ask for prayer if you haven’t been right. Running from your sins isn’t going to help.
-Don’t let guilt make you do ignorant things. Repent!
-Running from your problems won’t solve anything.
