Decisions That Honor God
Philippians 3 reminds us that we never truly know which choice could be the last one we make in our lives. Every decision matters, and the impact of what we choose resonates far beyond the moment.
Take a moment to reflect on how you think. Are you listening to God’s answers after you pray, or are you rushing through life without waiting for His guidance? Psalms 73 challenges us to understand that without making Godly decisions, our lives cannot reflect His character.
James 4 highlights that sometimes we “have not because we ask not.” When you pray, are you asking for what is right in God’s eyes, or simply what seems convenient to you? True prayer aligns our desires with His will.
2 Corinthians 4 and Romans 16 call us to examine the choices we make and the effects they have on others. Are your decisions simple, good, and wise? Or do they reflect compromise and distraction?
Every choice, whether small or significant, carries weight. The question is: are you making decisions that honor God and positively impact those around you?
Group Reflection:
As part of the night’s group work, we discussed practical examples of decisions in daily life: The Decision Matrix.
Personal Reflection:
I pray that the decisions I make lead to Godly results. I pray that Lord helps me to keep You first in the decisions I make so that my life glorifies You and impacts others for Your Kingdom.
