Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 28

-How is your relationship with God? Are you growing?

SCRIPTURE: Galatians 5

-If you are participating in the list described in Galatians 5:28, you will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

-The world may act confused but Christians shouldn’t be confused.

-Sometimes people are looking for peace but they are not looking for God.

-You cannot follow God and be ruled by anger.

SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 5

-There are ways that everyone knows that they can be better. Are you better than you were at this time last year?

-There are a lot of people that consider themselves Christians yet you can’t talk to them about God. Why is that?

-Don’t despise those who are trying to help you be better.

-It’s your responsibility to make sure you look like you’re not up to no good.

-Is your social media becoming a distraction to your walk with God?

-Too many people are trying to look like they are on the edge as apposed to trying to appear right.

-God cares what you look like to others and how you represent yourself.

-Stop trying to attract ungodly attention. Be careful about the appearance of evil.

-Appearance is important to God. Are you a light, a shining example for Christ?

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27 & 119

-What are you doing to seek God’s face?

-Are you attempting to hide from God because of the lingering sin in your life?

-Don’t try to hide from God repent of your sins and make a change.

-Don’t assume that God doesn’t get angry.

-There are some people you just cannot make happy despite how much they have to be grateful for.

-When a person is selfish and evil in their heart sometimes there is no amount of advice you can give that will help them because they are worried about pleasing them self.

-Please stop lying about your prayer life! Be honest and real with other believers who are trying to provoke you to do the right thing.

-People tend to lie when they are wrong and when they don’t want to be right. Have you chosen the way of truth?

-Stop thinking about what you want and start thinking about what God wants for you. Instead of asking are you happy ask if God is happy with you?

-Ask God to control your heart and passion.

-It’s hard to be committed to Christ with a wandering heart.
