Scripture: Matthew 18
- Don’t just acknowledge that you are wrong, ask for repentance.
- Saying sorry is not repenting, it is just a description of how you may or may not feel. Saying sorry by itself does not hold a lot of value.
- If you have truly repented it is highly unlikely that you will continue arguing with someone with the same mentality after the fact.
- When you truly are sorry you truly change.
- Please don’t assume that just because you attend or are present at church that your sins are forgiven.
- When you constantly do the things that you “feel” like doing then that is called living by the flesh.
- Does what you like to do clash with what God has commanded you to do?
- In order to be right with GOD you have to do what GOD says.
- Don’t be satisfied with staying in sin. Work to get things resolved and right.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 7
- If you have truly repented you are trying your best to make things right with everyone that you have wronged.
- Guilt does strange things to people.
- Ask for forgiveness, don’t just assume.
Scripture: Ephesians 6
- It is true that God died on the cross for you. It is also true that God expects something from you.
