Sermon

SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 15

SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 5

-Follow the word and keep your self out of tempting situations.

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 27

-A lot of people are planning on a tomorrow that isn’t going to come.

-Keep your self God focused.

-Understand that why you are stressing attempting to accomplish “great worldly” things some people haven’t even accomplished half of the things you have but they are still happy.

-Control your anger/ attitude!

-Envy can make you very critical of people as well as depressed.

-Don’t let jealousy settle in your spirit, it’s not Godly.

-Some people would rather leave Christ than to be open and honest with people.

-Are you an open and honest person? If not how can you be more open?

-Signs of someone who isn’t open and honest:

  • “I wouldn’t know what to say…”
  • “Someone needs to tell this person this…”
  • “I have to wait for the right time…”
  • “I have to figure out the right way to say it…”

-When you’re not open with people you start to feel compromised in your spirit.

-To pretend to be ignorant is not a good thing.

-Sometimes when you think people are really cool with you, it’s not because you’re living for the Lord.

-Does it take a TV show and cameras for you to be truthful?

SCRIPTURE: John 12

-Do you love the praise of men more than the praise of God?

SCRIPTURE: Mark 8

-There are some things as a believer that you will have to deal with and go through. Smoothing it over is not an option.

-What would you give in exchange for your soul?
