Scripture: Jude 1
-Everyday is a fight for your soul. Satan is real and he is busy.
-If you were to die today would you go to Heaven?
-What are you fighting for in terms of salvation?
-Ask yourself honestly, are you contending for the faith or are you just contending?
-The most important and supreme thing is to live for Christ. His righteousness is more important than our popularity.
-You are your selections.
-You are the combination and culminations of the selections you have made.
-Cain gave to God…but it wasn’t his best. Don’t assume that giving scraps is pleasing to God or even giving your second best for that matter.
-Live a life that substantive.
Scripture: Luke 9
-What does it mean for you to take up your cross daily?
-Sometimes the greatest accomplishments in life come from people who are doing things that they don’t feel like doing. Or better yet they are doing the things that other people don’t feel like doing.
-Some people are making choices daily to not be saved.
-Your selections come with all kinds of consequences, either good or bad.
-If you are not getting stronger in God then you ARE getting weaker.
-The end result of not contending for your faith is that you will not be saved.
Scripture: Luke 14
-Don’t let anything stop you from giving your best to God.
-How do you bear your cross?
Scripture: Acts 5
-You know who wants to keep you from God? The answer is Satan.
Make sure that you are willing to die daily.
Scripture: Proverbs 4
-When you are really doing something for Christ your way is pretty clear.
-It’s not what you know that is the issue. It is what you know and ignore that is the problem.
-God does not play games. Don’t lie to him.
-You may sometimes forget that when you are lying to people about the things of Christ you are lying to God. Don’t play games about your commitment to Christ.
-It’s not a bad thing to die praising the Lord but you don’t want to die playing with the Lord.
-Fight for the will of God not against it.
-It’s very difficult to justify something as a mistake when you planned to do the wrong thing.
-Never lie but definitely never lie about spiritual things.
