SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 26
-What you say matters.
-Are you a person that has to constantly apologize or say sorry?
-People lie especially people who don’t want to be right.
-Don’t lie to win an argument, don’t lie to get out of a situation, just don’t lie period.
-Big lie, or small lie, a LIE is a LIE.
-Even if no one ever finds out about your deceits and lies, you will eventually be exposed.
SCRIPTURE: James 4
-Be careful of making huge plans and huge goals when you haven’t included or thought about God.
-Believers should think and have a different mindset then most people.
-Do your plans have anything to do with God? How have the decisions you made this week impact what you do for God?
-Don’t try and fix up God’s will to do what you want.
-Most people aren’t living for God, they are following their heart.
-Most people will take what ever job they want or even relocate to any city they want without considering what God wants at all.
-Where you work, play, or stay matters to God.
-Seek God first not your goals. Your big goals and what God wants for you may be going in to separate directions.
-If you die as a rocket scientist there is no different heaven set aside for you, God doesn’t care about your worldly achievements.
-Most people that you deal with labor for temporary things.
-People will sacrifice everything instead of submitting to the will of God.
-You know what is important to people by the decisions that they make and where the put their time.
SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 5
-The world is a bad place, how are you making a difference?
-If you don’t have time to do Godly stuff…then what is the purpose of your time?
-Do more good for God.
SCRIPTURE: Luke 12
-If you love the Lord you have to invest.
