Sermon

Video Review from Sunday:

-These videos show how deep and pervasive evil is.

-People argue against the simplest of things.

-If you have no God you’re liable to come up with some foolish ideas.

-The truth is right in front of some people and they willingly choose not to accept it.

-…and for the people who pretend to be ignorant, you will still be judged.

Scripture: Romans 1

-Nature should lead you to God not away from him.

-People like to discuss Greek Mythology in school but yet the get offended when you want to talk about Jesus.

-Some people who talk ignorantly about God aren’t always just confused…they might be cursed.

-A lot of people love to believe in God’s blessings but not his curses.

Scripture: Proverbs 27

-The word of God gives you advice about daily situations.

-In your daily conversations you will start to realize that how most people make decisions is not really Godly.

-A lot of people make 5 year plans or set weekly, monthly, and annual goals…but make no commitments to doing more for Christ.

-People live too much on feelings and not on faith.

-People neglect to ask “whether it’s right or wrong” but rather how they feel about it.

-Being ignorant when you’re mad creates all kinds of problems. Anger can make you a foolish person.

-As a believer you are never to try and inflict wrath. How can you be a good example of Christ with malicious intents in your heart?

-You are probably going to go to hell if you can’t control your anger.

Scripture: James 4

-God is really not concerned about your goals as much as you are concerned about your goals.

-People are steadily asked “what they want to be and what they want to do” but the real question is what are you adding to God’s kingdom.

-God comes first. Period.

-If you are truly were you need to be in God then you are accomplished, no matter what the world says.

-The most important thing to you should not be where you work. Unfortunately the most important thing in most Americans life is their job.

-Don’t sacrifice your soul in pursuit of a job.

-Doing good is sometimes opposite of what people want to do. Make the right decision.

-At what sacrifice and what price would you exchange your soul?

-The next time someone asks you “What do you do?” tell them about your FIRST occupation; working for Christ.

-A lot of people think it’s a great testimony to live for the Lord, and it is. But it’s also a shame if you don’t.

-Sometimes exposure is DANGEROUS.

-Instead of being focused on a grand platform, utilize where you are now to be effective in Christ.

-Remember what your purpose is on this earth don’t lose focus.

-Popular does not mean right and popular does not change the meaning of the bible.

Scripture: Proverbs 7

-Be careful the world will confuse you, if you let it.

-PG-13 isn’t what it used to be. The world is gradually slipping more and more towards glorifying evil things.

Scripture: Colossians 3

-Don’t be an envious person.

-It’s hard to rationalize with envious people.

-If you find yourself dealing with people described in this lesson, share the scriptures from this bible study with them.

-Do you want to know how to become a better friend?…Tell your friends the TRUTH.

-Are you a faithful friend?

-Your either with Jesus or you’re against him. There is no middle ground.
