Sermon
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27
-To be a christian also requires you to be strong during trying times.
-The world does not like God nor does it seek to live for Christ.
-Even praising the wicked is evil.
-Don’t trade your soul for fame. It is not worth it.
-Just because your going through something don’t resort to doing the wrong thing. Trust God through your difficult times.
-Do you truly praise God?…or only when you’re in a good mood?
-God let’s us go through things because he is trying us, we are not trying God.
-When is the last time you boldly made a statement that you will seek the Lord no matter what?
-You may be faced with losing friends and family members because of your relationship with God.
-A lot of people claim to want direction form the Lord…but will you really follow it? Truly seeking after God also requires that you deny somethings in your life.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10
-You will soon learn, if you don’t know already, that some people just do not desire to seek the Lord whatsoever.
-You cannot change who you are in Christ to try and fit somebody else’s desires.
-God always has to come first.
-What is your life really about? Have you lost it seeking selfish things or have you found it in Christ?
-You have decisions everyday to either choose Christ or not. What choices have you been making?
-Everyone in the world may be telling you to pursue your dreams but God is telling you to wake up.
-Too many people are giving up their soul. Wake up.
-Some of the most successful people in the world are also some of the most depressed.
-One reason you may be feeling “far away” from God is because you have stopped seeking him.
-Most people are very average about their relationship with Christ. Don’t be that way about the most import thing in your life.
