Sermon
Scripture: Romans 12
-God sees your heart. He even hears the things that you wouldn’t say out loud to other people.
Scripture: 1 Peter 4
-Pray, when you get up in the morning, to have a productive day in Christ and ask for his direction.
-Your prayer time is the opportunity that you get to talk to God.
-You can tell whose passionate and who isn’t.
-Think about your spiritual life because it is not just going to naturally come to you, you have to put in the time.
-When God’s word says above all things that means you should put a primary focus on it, it’s important stuff.
-Don’t miss the point by not prioritizing what God’s word emphasizes.
-We all have task to do in Christ. One of them includes talking about and sharing the Love of Christ.
-Can you honestly say “If my dreams shatter my world will not come undone” because your faith in God is unmovable?
-Just because you like something doesn’t mean it’s right…just because you want to do something doesn’t mean it should be done.
-The greatest debates in life sometimes occur internally.
-If you’ve ever said to yourself I shouldn’t think this way…then correct yourself.
-Sometimes talking to yourself too much is not really the best thing for you.
-Look at all of the things God has provided you with. You have been blessed whether you proclaim it or not.
Scripture: Psalms 47
-Don’t fail in celebrating the Lord. It is your responsibility to give him praise publicly.
Scripture: Psalms 19
-What do you honestly think God thinks about the effort that you give to him?
-If you have some stuff that is not right in your life (little pet sins that you hide from your peers) then clean it up! Don’t be the person who only feels guilty because they got caught.
-Maybe the reason that you keep getting caught for your wrongdoings is because God wants you to get corrected!
-To withhold information about someone who is sinning says more about YOU than who you are trying to protect.
-There are some situations you shouldn’t even involve yourself in. Period.
-You not making a decisions to change also equates to you making a decision to reject God.
-You can say everything, sing everything, or do everything. Your words and actions have to be acceptable to God. What comes out of your mouth matters.
-God knows your thoughts. What they don’t know might not hurt them…but it can condemn you.
Scripture: Colossians 3
-Let Gods word dwell in you!
-God created music. Music is important to God. So what are you singing and listening to?
