Sermon
-What decisions are you making in your life that declare your stance in God?
-Christians know that what they do in Christ matters. Don’t be discouraged by evil doers, keep pushing.
-Some people are weak in the faith because they have no faith.
-Are you thanking God for the things he has delivered you from or are you always complaining about the next problem.
-Instead of complaining about how other people are letting you down why don’t YOU do more for others.
-Even if it seems like no one appreciates your work continue to do the right thing.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10
-Have you found your life?…Do you know your life purpose?
-Spending too much time thinking about your career and how you’re going to advance yourself could be actually hurting you. Especially spiritually.
-Some peoples only thought is survival, when they ought to be thinking about how they can live in Christ.
-How is your life abundant in Christ?
-What have you done in your life to make sure you are growing and glowing in God?
-What examples in your life can you point out that demonstrate you laying down your life for friends and fellow believers in Christ.
-What can someone, that doesn’t know the Lord, learn from you?
-Instead of trying to find what makes you happy all the time seek the things that will please the Lord.
-People who are giving God their leftovers will not make it to Heaven.
-Doing good in school does not make you a Christian, Doing good at work does not make you a Christian. Know the difference between a Godly life and a normal life.
–Right Now! You need to be serious about God. Right Now! You need to be giving your all in Christ.
-Peculiar people are those who want to make a difference in Christ…not the ones that you have to push, pull, and drag to do things in Christ.
-It’s easy to spot the people who are really into their work for the Lord vs. those who don’t really care. Give a pure and sincere effort.
-If you have to be pushed, pulled, dragged, and begged then you won’t get any credit, even for the little work you fuss about doing.
-What does God use you for in other people’s lives?
-How are you making a spiritual difference in the lives of others?
-Stop trying to be mediocre, strive to be excellent!
-It takes courage to be a Christian.
-It is also important to maintain good works, the things that you’ve done in the past may be good but keep working for God. Don’t stop!
SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 4
-If some people would spend as much time on their spiritual life as they do in the gym…then they might be doing okay in Christ. Bodily exercise is of little value in the grand scheme of things.
