Sermon
- Are you neglecting your commitment to God because you are too busy keeping your commitments to yourself?
- -What you love, you are committed to.
Scripture: Luke 13
- Don’t live a life where failure is acceptable in God. Failure should not be an option in Christ.
Scripture: Romans 12
- Some of you don’t know your office in Christ or you just don’t respect it.
- God uses the word “one another” a lot in the Bible. What you do with “one another” is really important.
- A common misconception people have is that they won’t go to Hell for lying. They think they will only go to Hell if they get caught lying, that is false.
- God uses people to get YOU right.
- Think about what it means to be conformed to this world. How many people think you are strange because you live a completely different lifestyle than they do?
Scripture: 1 Peter 4
- If you are really living right people will think that it’s different that you don’t hang out with them.
- Don’t end up being a sucker for someone who is trying to be eye candy to everybody else.
Scripture: Proverbs
- God hates a proud look.
- As much as you hate when people lie to you, you ought to hate to lie to people.
- Don’t lie TO anybody else or FOR anybody else.
Scripture: Psalms 84
- The church is a stopping place for a lot of people when it should be the destination.
- God created church, not man.
- How much is church apart of your life.
- When you enjoy praising God, and when praising God is a big deal to you, that says a lot about you.
- Know that when you trust in God that he will take care of you.
- If you are already doing very little for Christ you cannot continue to do the same thing and think that it will be acceptable.
- If you know you can improve on your life in Christ but you choose not to, that is sin.
- What kind of Godly exercises are you going to do?
