-Do you think about your own life the way that you think about someone else’s life in terms of Christ?
-Things can and will go on without you but YOU can’t go on without God.
-Facts are God will still exist if you don’t praise and worship him. But God has called us to do so.
Scripture: Matthew 6
-The first thing you need to be concerned about is whether or not you are living to please God.
-There is a difference between gentiles and believers.
-Most people think they are more important than they should be thinking they are.
Scripture: Luke 12
-If you are not rich towards God it might be because you are not investing in him.
-Are you working on your mansion in glory?
-How rich are you today in God?
-Get yourself and your life in order with Christ! God should not be your backup plan. Be active doing things for the Lord.
-Some people are not confused about holy things they are just not committed.
-Words associated with important:
- Needed
- Significance
- Vital
- Value
- Imperative
- Crucial
-Is church important to you and are you important to church?
-Not being important is often more of a choice than you think it is.
-Are you more interested in feeling significant or being signficant. Make sure that the things that you give to God are valuable.
