Scripture: Jude 1
-Would people like you if you did what Jesus would do? No they would crucify you!
-The true question is do you want to glorify Christ?
-Just because the world conforms doesn’t mean that you have to conform.
-Just because you don’t feel convicted by something doesn’t mean that it isn’t a sin.
Scripture: Galatians 5
-God has very clearly made it known that the institution of marriage is important.
-If you are not married you should not be trying to attract sexual attention.
-Remember the following words and avoid them:
- Adultery
- Fornication
- Uncleanness
- Lasciviousness
- Idolatry
- Witchcraft
- Hatred
- Variance
- Emulations
- Wrath
- Strife
- Seditions
- Heresies
- Envying
- Murders
- Drunkenness
- Revelings
-Do you know someone who is involved in any of the things listed above and also considered them to be saved? If so you need to read God’s word because it says otherwise.
-If you hate someone in your heart you are in the same category as a murderer according to God.
-You can’t live anyway that you want to and expect to make it to Heaven.
Scripture: Titus 2
-Christians ought to be joyful not sinful.
-Your desire for the world can take you away from the Lord.
-God has not called us to do everything that we can to appeal to people.
-Don’t have a misunderstanding of grace.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 5
-God is for real and God has called us to be for real.
