Scripture: Proverbs 16

-If you pay attention and study the word God is preparing you for situations in your life.

-You know a lesson has stuck with you when you actually do it.

-DO NOT be conformed to this world.

-There used to be a clear distinction between Gospel singers and worldly artist. Now days it’s hard to tell.

Scripture: James 4

-Most people are only concerned about satisfying their lust, not doing God’s will.

-Your desire to be in and of the world can make you an enemy of God.

-If you are befriending the world then you are at warfare with God.

-Don’t give up your relationship with God for a friendship with the world. Guard your heart.

-Stop seeking to always be apart of “what’s going on” because what’s going on could be against what God wants.

-Choose wisely because you are choosing sides.

Scripture: Romans 12

-Measure yourself with truth and not with feeling.

-God wants you to transform, not to conform to the world.

-What did you change from and how are you so different than what you used to be?

Scripture: Proverbs 23

-Stay away from alcohol, drugs, and parties. Simple.

-If you say you are sorry but then turn around and do the same thing…how do you expect people to believe you?

-A lot of people are not sorry for what they’ve done, they are just in an emotional state.

-Some people RIGHT NOW are planning the same sin that they just apologized for last week.

-Stop leaving traces for your sin. Repent, move forward, and be done with it.

-Stop just expressing how you feel, express what your commitment is as well.

-Don’t use the bad things that have happen in your life as an excuse to not do the right thing. Rise above.

-If you are feeling lonely then why don’t you go befriend somebody else?

Scripture: Psalms 119

-Think about who you are.

-Add God to your upcoming plans.

Make commitments not excuses.
