SCRIPTURE: 2 Timothy 3
-Surround yourself with people who are seeking after the Lord. Hang around people who are going to make you better in Christ!
-When you are weak the devil will seek you out.
-People love neutrality. They want you to compromise on your stance in Christ. Christianity is not for people who want to take a neutral stance on issues that God has been VERY clear about.
-Make a decision to do the right thing and to be honest with others.
-When you are truly courageous you are REAL with people.
-Don’t be a coward and acknowledge something was wrong way after the fact. Make a stance when the moment counts.
-The conversation that you’ve been avoiding could be the conversation that saves someones life.
SCRIPTURE: Acts 24
-Be real.
-Sometimes people just lie. Plain and simple.
-There are some people who will have a problem with you just because you believe in God. It annoys some people that you are a Christian.
-Be open and true and stop lying or hiding the truth.
-The truth troubles some people…and they run from it.
SCRIPTURE: Acts 26
-There is a crisis of courage because people will not stand up and tell the truth.
-Anxiety is an enemy of courage. Being afraid is not an excuse for sinning.
-Too many people are stressed about the exact things God has told us not to be worried about.
-When did Jesus say it was okay to be anxious?
-Why believe in God yet be just as worried as if you did not believe in God?…
-Don’t let fear keep you from being effective in Christ.
