-The world’s system is not set up to make it convenient to follow Christ.
Scripture: Romans 12
Don’t forget the four P’s when reading the scripture.
-Prayer, Principle, Precepts, & Proclamation
For this example of using the 4 P’s we will take Romans 12:2
Precept: Don’t conform to the world and keep your mind and heart focused on God.
Prayer: God please don’t let my mind become corrupted by the world. Lord allow me to be a good ambassador of what is good and acceptable to you.
Promise & Principle: If you are not following the Lord your mind is susceptible to being distracted by the world.
Proclamation: I will be an ambassador of what is good and acceptable for the Lord. I will keep my mind on God’s will for my life so I will not become pressured in to compromising.
