Communion
Scripture: Acts 8 & 17
-God is going to use people to communicate and share with you.
-Don’t automatically when you say Jew assume that it means not christian.
-When it comes to serving God there should be no delay.
-Be careful of trying to solve an argument of two people fighting over crack.
-Read the bible. Actually read it and learn!
-When people are making a stand for God people will try to cause tension: (Colorado Wedding Cake Story).
Scripture: Romans 11 & 12
-beseech: ask (someone) urgently and fervently to do something; implore; entreat.
-You should never leave worship saying you did’t get anything out of it. What did you put into it?
-Worship is a spiritual and physical activity.
-What is a good worship life without Prayer? What is a good prayer life without worship? Do both for the Lord wholeheartedly and consistently.
-A lot of people’s religion does not include using their bodies. Present your bodies a living sacrifice.
-A lot of people prefer to talk about believing something rather than doing something.
-Live your life giving it over to God.
-Have you presented yourself to God?
-Don’t make a song make a liar out of you. How can you sing “Give myself away” yet you give no effort while singing to it?
-God deserves all the honor and Glory whether you give it to him or not.
-If you are going to be a believer then BE A BELIEVER.
-If you dedicate something to God don’t constantly take it back.
-People are sacrificing God not sacrificing for God.
-Having a bad mood is not an excuse for giving bad praise and worship. It’s not acceptable.
-If you want something to be better then you will have to put more time into it. If you want to know something then you have to go learn it.
Scripture: Psalms 103
-It is important to understand what worship and praising the Lord really means.
-When is the last time you said “I will give it my all” when it comes to worshiping the Lord.
-Don’t let anybody turn your volume down in Christ!
-Give the best you have to offer when it comes to worshiping the Lord.
-When you do what you do for God, let it be the BEST!
-Some people have a tendency to forget how good God has been to them.
-Whether you realize it or not people will judge you on how much effort you put into what you say you believe.
