Communion

Scripture: Proverbs 16

-Jesus was tortured on the cross just to repair a relationship with you.

-No matter how much stuff God has done for people they still choose to go to the “dark side”.

-God wants you to have confidence, not be depressed.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11

-People take court seriously, treat church even more importantly.

-The generation we live in has a lack of respect for God.

-Jesus has never told you to do anything bad so why reject him?

-Examine yourself before taking communion.

Sermon

Scripture: Romans 12

-When you give your life to God you should set him in a special place. Because as Christians you are not like everybody else.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 13

-When you are living a life of holiness, your focus is on pleasing the Lord.

-It may seem weird to a lot of people that Christians include God in your plans.

-Without holiness NO MAN shall see the Lord.

-If you claim to be a believer but never share your faith or try to help others to Christ, are you really a believer?

Scripture: Psalms 145

-Have you declared in your heart that you will make God special?

***WEEKLY CHALLENGE ALERT***

-Let someone else see you giving thanks to the Lord. Declare God’s goodness to someone else

-Read the first chapter of Malachi.

Scripture: Malachi 1

-You will insult God if you are doing something for him and not giving your best effort.

-You should have an attitude that says “God’s going to get the best that I have”.

-If you are great at everything else except for your work for Christ then you have failed.
