Sermon

SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 3 & 5

-Be very grateful for the people and opportunities you get in your life, you never know when they could be taken away.

-As thanksgiving approaches reflect on some of the things you are blessed with and then thank God.

-If you are thankful for being forgiven then live like you are forgiven!

-“Depressed thankful” people are not thankful people.

-Being thankful also requires you to give thanks. Treat people with the attitude of the gratitude that you have.

-Everyday someone dies, show your appreciation to those who have helped you and who are helping you.

-Other people can get to know God by seeing you show your appreciation for God.

-Be careful of being too I casual or chill in church. Treat God with the proper respect.

-Satan will take pressure and attempt to make you fold with it.

-Too many people are Americans first and Christians somewhere else further down the line.

-If you’re always looking for the easy way out then you may not find the way in.

-Will you stand for Christ even when you are going through something?

-Everybody is not a Christian and everyone will not stand for Christ…but will you?

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 28

-Don’t be confused, being an “American” does not mean being Christian.

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27

-If the Lord is the strength of your life then what do you have to fear?

-As a Christian you will have some people who will not like you.

-What is your true character, how do you handle the pressure?

-Where are the real warriors on Christ?

-God wants you to have confidence and strength.

SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 4
