Sermon
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27
-Wait on the Lord & be of good courage!
-Some people are seeking the strength before having courage. Don’t put the cart before the horse.
-God is not asking you to be like everybody else.
-There is no courage without choice.
-Christians don’t wake up looking for conflict but there are certain situations that you have to be bold and make a stance in God.
SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4
-You have more opportunities than you might realize to talk about God to others.
-It takes courage to be open.
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 10
-Think about why you are at church and who you are impacting.
-Who have you encourage to be loving in Christ?..and how?
-How many relationships do you have that challenge you to be a better Christian? Do you provide that type of relationship to other people?
SCRIPTURE: James 5
-Confess and be open.
SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 7
-A lot of times you think people are trying to condemn you when they could just be trying to help you.
-Certain situations can not be avoided when you make a stand for Christ.
-Sorrow of the world leads to death.
-Don’t get confused that only saying you are sorry is considered repentance.
-Become a part of the solution, not the problem.
-It takes courage to deal with sorrow appropriately.
