Sermon

Scripture: Romans 12

-Too many people are trying to look like the world instead of standing for Jesus.

-Some of the artist who claim to be christian artists are more in love with hip-hop than they are with Jesus Christ.

Scripture: 1 John 2

-It is very clear that the world is not concerned with serving God.

-The world isn’t even attempting to hide the fact that they are against God.

-If you are in love with the world then the love of the father is not in you.

-You might not be as successful in the worlds eyes as you might want to be without sacrificing some of yourself.

-What sacrifices to better yourself in Christ or to advance in the world?

Scripture: John 4

-Friendship with the world is warfare with God.

-Do you want to be friends with the world?…

-As a christian you won’t be able to have certain friends.

-If your “friends” don’t like God then maybe you shouldn’t be friends with them.
