Sermon
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 27
-The words you hear at church should help provide some direction to your life.
-How do you deal with people in the world and in your life.
-Don’t live your life in fear of what people like and don’t like. Serve the Lord!
-Too many people are conforming out of fear. Yes…the Christian life if different.
-If you don’t have enemies because of your faith…then maybe your fighting alongside them not against them.
-Church isn’t mans idea, it’s Gods.
-Willingly come to church to bring the praise. Give your praise don’t wait for someone to ask you to praise the Lord.
-God wants you to be more for him, not less. Ask yourself “Am I all I need to be for God”?
-Some people state the love and live for the world but what do their actions show?
-Stop taking stuff so lightly, stop letting the devil push his agenda on you.
-Know where the enemy is and know where your help is.
-A lot of “popular” people mock God what is your perception of them, do you still view them as cool?
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 36
-Atheist are not intelligent. Don’t confuse there rambling statements as enlightenment when they can’t even give credit to their creator.
-If you are going to be serious about God you will have enemies.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10 & 16
-You’re not cooler than Jesus. I know your ungodly friends may try to downplay God but no one is more important than God.
-Sometimes cowardice is also called political correctness. Speak the truth.
–YES, you have to acknowledge God before people.
-Is there anything or anyone who you love more than God? What will cause you to lose your relationship with God?
-Start the first day of your week off with work for the Lord.
-To be truly what God wants you to be you must release yourself to him. You can’t always get, be, or have what you want.
SCRIPTURE: Luke 9
-You have to be willing to make changes to excel in Christ.
-You may have standards for your relationships but what are your standards in Christ?
-How are you denying yourself?
-Is God getting the best from you or just the rest of what is left over?
