Sermon

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 1 & 119

-What are you meditating on throughout the day?

-A lot of people identify with Christianity but they don’t live a christian life.

-What in your life is competing for your spirit?

-What do you describe as being blessed? You might not realize how blessed you really are.

-Don’t be ungrateful for the things that the Lord has blessed you with.

-What is your mentality about being blessed?

-There are a lot of people who are in nice situations…but they are not blessed.

-How much time does God actually get in your life?

-If you can’t be trusted with a little bit then why are you expecting God to give you more?

-You might not be able to freely worship God if you are not free.

-Be righteous and bold.

-Free yourself by repenting asking God for forgiveness

-God will not fail you for being obedient to him.

-Be bold, be true, and be strong in the Lord. Be successful in God!

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 28

-God has provided you with a book to figure people out.

-Boldness does not come without obedience.

-God is not only giving you good words he’s giving you truth!

-Until you get sin out of your life you will not feel confident in God. You have to keep all of God’s commandments not just some of them.

-Are there things in your life that you put priority over God?

SCRIPTURE: James 1

SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 12

-A lot of people are saying “it’s not going to hurt” but they need to be asking is it going to help.

-Remove the things in your life that are keeping you from running your race.

-Keeping reminders of your sin does nothing but provide another outlet for you to backtrack.

-Why hold on to things that will tempt you to do wrong? Let it go.

-When you don’t remove the things that will holding you back then you will not have a successful race in God.

-Make a commitment to be right with the Lord.
